Norwegian firm to capture CO2 from rubbish

A Norwegian oil firm has launched a project to capture CO2 from burning rubbish. Aker Solutions is working in Oslo on the five-month project which is said to be the first of its kind for a waste-to-energy plant. The Klemetsrud plant burns more than 310,000 householders and industrial waste per year to generate heat, emitting around 300,000 tonnes of CO2.
